Bio

Born March 27, 1974, and raised in Johnson City, Tennessee. She is the daughter of the late Gilda and Dwight Forney. Tish has one brother Dwight II. At a very young age Tish lost her mother, so she had to grow up fast. Tish and Dwight at that point were raised by their grandmother Lucinda Williams. Their upbringing was rooted in the church, because their grandmother was an evangelist.

Tish graduated from Science Hill High School in 1991, and stayed home to attend East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Tish worked several odd jobs during a span of trying to attend college and taking care of little Dwight.

In December 1997, Tish moved to Greensboro, North Carolina with a friend, and later met Darren Carter. On January 4, 2000 their daughter Lauren Nicole Carter was born.
