Two grown a$$ men bickering like two b!tches. It get's on my nerves, these multi millionaire superstar athletes dragging each other through the mud in the media. I think both of them have more to concern themselves with than each other.

It all started when Shaq said that Bryant "should probably look to be more of a passer until he gets his legs strong. As we start this new season, we want $hit done right," Shaq said. "Everybody knows that. You [media] guys may give it to [Bryant] like you've given him everything else his whole lifetime, but this is the Diesel's ship. So ... if you ain't right [physically], don't be trying to go out there and get right on our expense. Use the people out there, then when you get right you [can] do what you do." "If you don't like it, then you can opt out next year. As long as it's my team, then I'll voice my opinion. If you don't like it, then opt out."

Bryant then lashed out and said, "I definitely don't need advice on how to play my game." I know how to play my guard spot. He can worry about the low post, and I'll worry about the [perimeter]." Bryant continued when ask to comment on Shaq's statements, It doesn't matter whose team it is. Nobody cares. I don't, Karl doesn't, Gary doesn't, and our teammates and the fans don't either. There's more to life than whose team this is. But this is his team, so it's time for him to act like it. That means no more coming into camp fat and out of shape, when your team is relying on your leadership on and off the court. It also means no more blaming others for our team's failure, or blaming staff members for not overdramatizing your injuries so that you avoid blame for your lack of conditioning. Also, "my team" doesn't mean only when we win; it means carrying the burden of defeat just as gracefully as you carry a championship trophy.

Shaq & Kobe
These two need to get it together.

There has been tension between Kobe and Shaq for a long time. With all that's going with Kobe this off season, this was a way for Shaq to to say, look at the boy wonder and what a mess he has gotten himself into, and to the media who put him up on a pedestal, look at him now. Shaq has never been able to get along with anyone who had a chance to overshadow him, that's why he left Orlando, because Penny Hardaway was getting too many props. This may be just sour grapes, but Shaq should have just kept his mouth shut.

Kobe has always come off a little arrogant, he's introverted and stand off-ish. He always been self centered. He is a ball hog, but he is a clutch performer. Kobe got himself in a world of trouble this off season with the sexual assualt scandal, he probably should have flew under the radar until this thing passed over. I guess Kobe just lashed out, after Shaq said what he said. He was hurt by the comments and the fact that Shaq didn't even call him over the off season to see how he was doing. Kobe as well should have just kept his mouth shut.

Both of these cats are acting like too big babies, one scared the other one is going to get more attention than him, and the other just being too sensitive because the other one didn't call to show any support. Whatever, both of these two winey babies need to get there act together, or Timmy D will be cutting the nets down again next June.
